LEH inter county competition - Lea SMBC The first opponents for Lea in the LEH competition of 2007 were Westbury on Severn SMBC of the Gloucestershiore league. The games played at Lea were carried out in a good humour, and sporting attitudes.

In the action of the evening Tony Harris ( Lea) won the single and Ieuan Roberts and Colin Smith ( Lea) won the doubles. Joan James led the Lea triples team of Don Dickenson and Gwynneth Jones to victory, whilst The fours team of the Lea Short Mat Bowling Club Skipped by Jack Smith with Dave Watkins, Janet Harris, and June Smith, had an excellent win.
The final total carried over to the next leg was Lea SMBC 51 Westbury on Severn 23.
The second part of the round is scheduled for Wednesday 12th December at Westbury on Severn.
